With Super Bowl XLVII less than three days away, on Thursday evening Piers Morgan huddled up with one of his newest colleagues, Rachel Nichols, welcoming CNN's brand new sports anchor and reporter to his program and to the network.

Toobin “There is no doubt hat the federal government has the right to engage in some sort of gun control. The question is, what can they ban? They cannot ban handguns. We know that from the Supreme Court. But can they ban assault weapons? Can they ban tanks? Can they ban stinger missiles? You bet they can”

Watson, who is based at CNN Istanbul, joined the network four years ago and has since covered a number of major news events like the Haiti earthquake in 2010 and the Arab Spring. He's most recently reported from Syria, and has extensively covered the the impact that story has made in Turkey and the surrounding region.

In the interview Jackson opened up about the day he heard about his son’s death, he said “The saddest part about the whole thing was Michael tried to reach me. He says, ‘call my father’—this was before he passed – ‘he would know how to get me out of this.’” The elder Jackson also talked Michael life towards the end, saying “They treated him like Howard Hughes…the family couldn’t get to him, you know, like they should have. And that was very wrong for that to happen.”
