Morgan Spurlock 'Inside Man' to debut on CNN in Spring 2013

Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker, Morgan Spurlock, joins CNN in Spring 2013 as host and producer of the new original series, Inside Man. Each week Spurlock will provide an insider’s view into rarely-seen sectors of American life that include gun lovers, marijuana growers, migrant farm workers, and end-of-life caregivers. An acclaimed documentary filmmaker, Spurlock came to international prominence in 2004 with his Oscar® nominated film Super Size Me. He made his first foray into television as executive producer of the FX series 30 Days (2005-2008). Most recently, he has served as executive producer of the documentary series A Day in the Life on Hulu and the Yahoo spinoff of the feature-length documentary Mansome, as well as director of the films, Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope, Mansome, and The Dotted Line for ESPN.

John King reveals the first exit poll results

CNN Breaking News: The economy was the most important issue among those who voted today, CNN reports based on early exit polls.

Of those voters who were asked about the biggest economic problem facing “people like you,” 40% said it was unemployment, 37% said rising prices, 13% said taxes and 8% said it was the housing market.

Of those who voted today, 24% said they were doing better today compared with four years ago, 34% said they were doing worse and 41% said they were doing about the same.

Candy Crowley to Amanpour: the final hours of the U.S. election

CNN's chief political correspondent Candy Crowley spoke with chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour live from Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign headquarters in Boston just hours before the polls close in the United States on the 2012 election.  Crowley debriefed the strategies of the final hours of Gov. Romney's and President Obama's respective campaigns - and adds insights into why the U.S. presidential elections have become so expensive.
