Piers Morgan Tonight: Chaka Khan questions the Clive Davis Grammy party...

On Saturday, legendary singer Whitney Houston suffered a tragic death, and tonight Piers Morgan is joined by a panel of music insiders that knew her best.

Singer-songwriter Chaka Khan first recorded the single "I'm Every Woman," a song Houston took to new heights 15 years later. Calling the late star her "little sister," Chaka Khan questions the decision to proceed with Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party just hours after Houston's passing:

"I thought that was complete insanity," Chaka Khan tells Morgan. "I don't know what could motivate a person, to have a party, in a building, where the person, whose life he had influenced so enormously, and whose life had been affected by her...I don't understand how that party went on."

Singer Kelly Price, who last performed with Whitney Houston on Thursday night, tells CNN's Soledad O’Brien, “Yes, she was a little messy as I was, as every other person was at 2:00, 3:00, 3:30 when I left in the morning after having fun half the night. Dancing half the night, it was that. It was nothing more than that.”

Rep. Cleaver – Budget a 'nervous breakdown on paper'

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO), chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, discusses President Obama's budget proposal.

Cleaver says, “This budget is a nervous breakdown on paper. And it’s not just President Obama. I think he's put together a document that addresses education. We need to do it. Community colleges need to be upgraded. We got to have training for real jobs. We've got a lot of jobs that are going unfilled because we don't have the technology in the heads of graduating college students to deal with them."

He continues, “We are still in a recession. We're still struggling. Unemployment is still too high in every major city in the country. People are struggling. So for the federal government to turn the spigot off completely I think is to push the nation into a deeper economy. That's not just me talking. Some of the top economists in the nation have said the same thing.”

Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien airs week mornings from 7-9am ET on CNN.
