CNN TO BRING COMPREHENSIVE LIVE COVERAGE OF THE 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP
NEW YORK, NEW YORK – (June 9, 2026) – CNN will bring live, in-depth and multiplatform coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the largest ever staged, showcasing the network’s unparalleled, expansive global reach as CNN journalists in cities and countries across the world deliver up-to-the-minute news, analysis and athlete interviews from the 23rd edition of this legendary tournament like no one else can.
Award-winning CNN Sports anchors Amanda Davies, Don Riddell and Patrick Snell will lead daily coverage across the tournament starting June 11th. Riddell and Snell will be based in Atlanta – now the official home of US Soccer – and Davies will head from her base in London to the USA for the knockout stages.
