CNNI wins Gracie Award
CNN International has won a Gracie Award in the Outstanding Soft News Feature category for ‘Because I’m a Girl’, it was announced today by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation. ‘Because I’m a Girl’ is a four-part series that follows four girls from 13 to 15 years of age in four countries – Argentina, India, Kenya and the UK – for a single day.
‘Because I’m a Girl’ was executive produced by Mike McCarthy and Sheri England; produced by Misty Showalter and Alex Walker; and edited by Ashley Bateman and Brian Streicher.
