NEW YORK – (September 19, 2024) – Former US Representative for Pennsylvania Charlie Dent and comedian, actress and writer Rosebud Baker will join as guests on this week’s episode of CNN’s Have I Got News For You, the much-anticipated American version of the long-running BBC comedy series. Produced by Hat Trick Productions for CNN Originals, the ten-episode limited series will continue on Saturday, September 21 at 9pm ET/PT on CNN.
Always relevant and topical, Have I Got News for You, serves up a smart and edgy take on the news of the week from host Roy Wood Jr. along with two illustrious team captains in Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black.
Congressman Charlie Dent served seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives representing the 15th Congressional District of Pennsylvania. He was a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee where he chaired the Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies. Additionally, he served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics from 2015 – 2017.
Rosebud Baker is a comedian, actress and writer known for her debut comedy special, Whiskey Fists, which premiered on Comedy Central. She has written for the HBO series That Damn Michael Che and Saturday Night Live and plays a recurring role on the Hulu series Life & Beth. She has toured with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Michael Che and Amy Schumer and was selected as a New Face of Comedy at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2018.
Have I Got News For You will regularly air Saturdays at 9pm ET/PT and will be available to stream on Max the following day. This week’s episode will stream live for pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps on Saturday, September 21. It will also be available on demand beginning Sunday, September 22 to pay TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN connected TV and mobile apps, and Cable Operator Platforms.
