CLEAN SWEEP FOR CNN DIGITAL IN SEPTEMBER

TOPS ALL COMPETITORS, 17TH STRAIGHT MONTH AT #1 FOR NEWS VIDEO

CNN Digital continued its streak as the nation’s top news destination in September 2016. It outpaced all news and information competitors with more multiplatform unique visitors, mobile unique visitors, multiplatform views, and video starts than any other news outlet and reached its 17th straight month as the top destination for digital news video.

#1 IN MULTIPLATFORM UNIQUE VISITORS

More than 107 million unique multiplatform visitors reached CNN Digital in September 2016 – an increase of +28% versus the prior year and +6% versus the prior month. CNN outpaced second place Yahoo News by 12 million unique visitors across platforms and third place New York Times by 18 million.

CNN Digital welcomed 75 million unique visitors on mobile devices in September — a +42% increase from the year prior.
