Ryan Nobles Joins CNN Newsource as National Correspondent

Ryan Nobles will join CNN Newsource as a national correspondent based in Washington, D.C., it was announced today by Paul Crum, vice president of affiliate services for CNN/U.S.

Nobles joins CNN Newsource from WWBT in Richmond, Virginia, where he served as an award-winning anchor and reporter since 2007. He also served as an anchor and reporter for WTEN (Albany, NY), WHAM (Rochester, NY), and WKTV (Utica, NY). His communications experience includes serving as the Director of Communications/Research for New York State Senator Joseph Griffo; and as the Director of the Oneida County Youth Bureau in Utica.

Nobles has been ranked by The Washington Post as one of the “Best State Based Political Reporters” in 2009 and 2013; and on POLITICO’s “50 to Watch” list in 2011.

“Ryan is a relentless political and news journalist,” said Crum. “His experience will complement CNN Newsource and its offerings for its more than 800 affiliates.”

Nobles earned his Bachelor’s of Science from State University of New York college at Brockport and his Masters of Public Administration from Nelson A. Rockefeller School of Public Affairs and Policy at SUNY Albany.
