Ebola Survivor Nancy Writebol and Husband Sit Down with Anderson Cooper
In a moving two-part interview that aired on CNN’s AC360°, Anderson Cooper sat down with Ebola survivor Nancy Writebol and her husband David.
After weeks of care at Emory and a clear diagnosis, Nancy gave a firsthand account of what it was like the moment she learned she was infected with the deadly disease.
David spoke of visiting his wife while wearing personal protection equipment in order to “just be near to her, to touch her, you know, through a gloved hand.” David continued, “just to tell her that I loved her and that she was so beautiful. I still tell her that. And I will never stop, because she’s the best part of my life.”
