Rep. Royce: Embassy closings sparked by threat from “Central Asia”

Rep Ed Royce (R-CA), House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman, confirms to New Day that a serious al Qaeda threat from central Asia is causing multiple U.S. embassy closings on Sunday.

Rep. Royce said, “It’s my understanding that it is al Qaeda linked and the threat emanates in the Middle East and in Central Asia.”
