Jenna Miscavige Hill on Piers Morgan Tonight: David Miscavige is ‘evil’

This evening on Piers Morgan Tonight, Piers sat down with Jenna Miscavige Hill, the niece of David Miscavige, the head of the Church of Scientology, to talk about her memoir Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape.   Hill described her childhood in a Scientology camp where she was required to work long hours doing hard labor and rarely allowed to see her parents.  Asked by Piers if she thought her uncle was an evil man, Hill said “Yes.”

Piers also asked Hill about what her reaction is to celebrities like Tom Cruise who promote the Church.  She said that “either he does know what’s going on and he’s not talking about it, or he is willfully ignorant.”  She went on to say that celebrities who endorse an organization like the Church “have a responsibility to know everything about it, and know what they are endorsing.”
