Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o says he’s the victim of a hoax. Tonight, Anderson Cooper spoke to Timothy Burke, editor of Deadspin.com – the reporter who broke the news.

Cooper also spoke with David Haugh, sports reporter with Chicago Tribune who says that Te’o needs “answer those types of tough questions and be as transparent as possible, because if he is truly a victim of a cruel hoax as Notre Dame put it, then he has nothing to hide”
