NYC Health Commisioner explains reasons for super-size soda ban

NYC Health Commissioner Thomas Farley, MD discussed the city’s new plan to restrict the size of sugary drinks with CNN”s Ashleigh Banfield on Friday’s edition of Early Start.  He describes the public health reasons for the plan, and offers context for how the plan may be less controversial over time – as is the case for other health measures such as smoking and trans fat restrictions in years past.
