Kevin DeWine, Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party, tells CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien that the 2012 GOP primary in Ohio is going to be a tight race.
DeWine says, “This thing is going to be a two-man race. It’s going to be very, very close in Ohio over the course of the next few days. And it’s going to be — it’s going to be because of two things. You’re seeing all the candidates in here spending time and energy putting campaign ads on TV and doing radio ads, but you’re also — the Buckeye voters are also getting a great opportunity to see the candidates up close and personal doing real, real retail politicking. And I think that’s having an impact as we — as we roll into Super Tuesday here in the Buckeye State.”
Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien airs week mornings from 7-9am ET on CNN.
