Columbine principal offers Chardon help

Columbine High principal Frank DeAngelis speaks to CNN’s Soledad O’Brien on offering help to principal of Chardon High School in wake of shooting.

DeAngelis says, “What I could tell him is that there are so many people out there that support him. Columbine High School is sending their love and support. Many of the teachers who were in the [Columbine] building that day on April 20th that offered to go out and help students and staff and community members. The one piece of information I think that still rings out in my mind is someone said ‘it’s a marathon, not a sprint.’ And just to know that they’re not in it alone.”

Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien airs week mornings from 7-9am ET on CNN.
