Below please find select bites from the interview. Please credit all usage to CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360°.

Jason Carroll: How did the phone calls start, what was the nature of those calls?
Jeff Anderson: Well I can tell you there is a pattern that has emerged, not only with the folks who engaged us but the calls we received. In every instance Sandusky used his position of trust and power, and his caring ways as a coach and mentor to groom families and children.

JC: The victim you are formally representing, why did he come forward?
JA: He, uh, saw the interview Sandusky did, and he felt a mixture of fury, despair and fear.  And he shared with me that fury, despair and fear and said that when I heard him say that he had not abused or raped or violated children, uh, I knew that he had not only violated me, but he had put a dagger in my heart, salt in the wounds,

JC: In the case you’re representing was he a young man, what’s he alleging Sandusky did?
JA: in some cases its multiple instances of child rape, and abuse, and other instances it’s uh more isolated. But in all instances, they were effectively groomed, this I not just about Sandusky grooming and raping and abusing children; this is about an institutional failure, by many, over a decades, t heed the warning signs and to protect the kids. And instead of protecting the kids many adults chose to protect the reputation.
