Rep. Capuano (D-MA): U.S. action in Libya illegal

Representative Michael Capuano (D-MA) says President Obama needs Congressional authorization for military action in Libya. Capuano and other House members are suing the Obama administration.

Capuano says, “This is a nonpartisan effort. And for me, I’m a strong and early supporter of President Obama. This has nothing to do with him. I think he’s a good president. But I think on this particular issue he was wrong. And for me, it’s not even about Libya. It’s about the next war and the next president whatever might happen tomorrow. I think it’s critical that this issue be answered.”
