Republican insider Steve Schmidt: Less viable candidates hurt serious GOP presidential contenders

On “In the Arena,” Senator John McCain’s 2008 advisor Steve Schmidt says serious GOP 2012 presidential candidates must navigate through “a reality show” and a “theater of the absurd.” Schmidt says Sarah Palin is never going to be president of the United States and predicts Gov. Romney, Gov. Pawlenty or Gov. Huntsman for the Republican nomination.
