Gonzales backs Bush-era interrogations on “In the Arena”

Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales tells CNN contributor E.D. Hill that PresidentBush-era “enhanced interrogation techniques” were “lawful.”

Gonzales says, “We knew these were tough measures we’re putting in place. We knew they would be controversial. It was important, though, for the security of our country to put these measures in place.”
