CNN Living Golf / Shane O’Donoghue exclusive with World No. 1 Martin Kaymer

‘Living Golf’ Masters special on CNN International

This month’s ‘Living Golf’ on CNN International is a Masters special, hosted by Irish presenter, Shane O’Donoghue.

The programme features an exclusive with World No.1 Martin Kaymer at his home club in Scottsdale Arizona. The German, who has yet to make the cut after three attempts at the Masters, demonstrates the shots that he is working on to best cope with the unique challenges of Augusta National.

Three former Masters Champions join the programme for a roundtable discussion about their affection for the year’s first Major. Gary Player (1961, 1974 & 1978), Bernhard Langer (1985 & 1993) and Trevor Immelman (2008) recall their cherished memories of contending in and winning this illustrious major Championship.

This is the 75th anniversary of the Masters Tournament and ‘Living Golf’ celebrates its co-founder Bobby Jones and looks at the amateur tradition that continues at the Championship, with contributions from Matteo Manassero, who won the Silver Cup for leading amateur last year when only 16 years of age, and Deane Beman, the former Executive Director of the PGA Tour who played in the Masters many times as an amateur, having won two US Amateur titles and a British Amateur Championship.

There’s also time spent with the reigning US and British Amateur Champions, Peter Uihlein and Jin Jeong, who both make their debuts this week at Augusta National.

‘Living Golf’ airs at the following times:

Thursday 7 April at 1230 and 1830 BST

Saturday 8 April at 0730, 1600 and 2330 BST

Sunday 9 April at 0430, 0830 and 1930 BST

Shane O’Donoghue will also report from Augusta National daily on CNN’s ‘World Sport’.
