Lawmaker Ed Markey warns U.S. government on nuclear response

Rep. Ed Markey urges the U.S. to provide potassium iodide pills to people within 20 miles of a nuclear power facility to protect against thyroid cancer. Markey continues to tell Eliot Spitzer that he would “have a complete review of all nuclear power plants that are in  earthquake zones to make sure that they have the proper safety protections.”
