Rep. Ruppersberger: Problem is culture of leaks; comments on Romney's speech

Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) discusses the 2012 race, campaign ads and security leaks with CNN Anchor Soledad O’Brien on Starting Point.

On Mitt Romney’s recent comments on President Obama’s role in the security leaks, Rep. Ruppersberger says, “Now as far as what Romney said about the White House, I was a former prosecutor and did investigations. And one of the things you have to do is you have to get the facts and follow the facts and in this country we do not find somebody guilty because issues are in the media.”

He continues, “The problem though is the culture of the leaks. We will eventually find who leaked this and they will be brought to justice. But the bottom line is we need to stop the leaks today.”

Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien airs weekday mornings from 7-9am ET on CNN.
