
Actress and producer, Vivica A. Fox stopped by the CNN Express which was parked outside the San Diego Convention Center at Comic-Con. The actress commented on the tragic death of singer Amy Winehouse.
The emotional interview aired Friday during CNN Newsroom with Don Lemon.

According to CNN iReporter Mark Zhen, this year’s Comic-Con ladies have really brought their A-game. After taking a spin around the convention center, he was especially impressed by the variety of costumes.
“This year's opening day of Comic-Con was even more packed with cosplayers from your favorite comic book, video game, TV show, film or animated feature,” Zhen said. “From the tough as nails, temptresses to the sultry sirens of science fiction, this year was no exception in fulfilling your fantasy of seeing your favorite characters in action.”

CNN Express a ‘Must-Stop’ for Celebrity Comic-Con Interviews
CNN is descending on San Diego to cover all of the angles of what’s next at San Diego Comic-Con International, the world’s largest comic book convention and pop culture event of its kind. The four-day convention is from July 21 – 24 in San Diego, California with over 125,000 attendees expected to convene on the city.
‘Geek Out’, CNN’s popular franchise, takes center stage and is one of the main features of CNN’s Comic-Con coverage on the ‘What’s Next’ blog. ‘Geek Out’ reports on pop culture events and geeky news stories through the lens of fan and nerd cultures. CNN is scheduled to have ‘Geek Out’ sessions with some of the most respected and beloved stars in the sci-fi and fantasy world. After the crowds and fans return to their homes after Comic-Con, CNN is making a place for fans to “geek out” on a regular basis – the network will debut the forthcoming ‘Geek Out’ blog, just in time for Dragon*Con in September 2011.
