CNN's Alina Cho sat down with actress Halle Berry and designer Michael Kors to discuss their "Watch Hunger Stop" campaign to benefit the UN's World Food Programme.
Later in the interview, Berry opens up about being pregnant with her second child at the age of 46.
On her pregnancy, Berry said, "I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth."
Berry talked about the significance of the program as a mother. "Being a pregnant woman and already having a child, that it's so important what happens to the baby while they're in utero," Berry said. "And the first 1,000 days is fundamental. Good nutrition during that time period is fundamental for your baby to develop properly and normally and to live a normal life."

Jason Wu tells CNN’s Alina Cho that designing Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown was an honor and details what went into creating it.
Wu says, “Right now, we're working on the fall collection and we were all still working, we had been working until like 10:00, 10:30, and we had to watch. And when the second she came out and everyone just let out the biggest scream. I mean, the whole entire studio, it was amazing. The energy was amazing.”
He adds, “Well, I chose ruby red, and, you know, it was a custom weave fabric. I wanted it to look festive, but I had also wanted - wanted it to be soft and - so that combination of velvet and chiffon was really important so we wove, it was all hand loomed, the fabric, and it's little bets of velvet woven to a floral pattern within a chiffon fabric. It's a two-process.”

In a special preview of Fashion: Backstage Pass, CNN’s Alina Cho talks to fashion mogul Donna Karan about her early career and using her fashion empire to give back.
Donna Karan says, “I started as a dream…I wanted to design seven easy pieces that were just for me and my friends, and that's the truth. And then, all of a sudden, everybody wanted them.”
Karan continues, “With the world that we're living with today and you talk about dressing, I can no longer just dress. It was dressing and addressing. The healthcare problem or educational problem, the cultural problems, the impoverished lands of people.”
Cho explains that Karan’s Urban Zen stores support Haitian artists and Karan adds, “100 percent of the profits all goes back to the Haitian artisans.”

Reflecting on the moment she realized she’d become a success, Smalls says, “I think you kind of feel it that when you want something so bad and when something great happens, I think it is instinct. That you say this is going to be the moment that is going to change everything.”
She continues, “I always wanted the greater and the bigger… I came here with a purpose and you know, to finally achieve it, and to also be an inspiration to others.”

Actor and comedian Will Ferrell speaks with CNN national correspondent Alina Cho about his charitable contributions to Cancer for College, a foundation that gives scholarship money to young cancer survivors.
Ferrell says that giving back is “the only thing fame is really good for…. That one night a year where we get to give out the scholarship checks supersedes all of that.”
