CNN had its most-watched first quarter in 14 years (since 1Q 2003) among both adults 25-54 and total viewers. Among all quarters, the network posted its second highest quarterly ratings in total day (25-54 and total viewers) and 3rd highest in prime time (25-54) since 4Q 2008.

For the quarter that ended on Sunday (January-March), CNN ranked #2 in cable news, with all key programs posting record ratings and growing double digits compared to a year ago. CNN topped MSNBC in total day (25-54, total viewers) and in prime time (adults 25-54) for the 12th straight quarter, the longest quarterly streak in more than eight years (since 4Q 2008). FULL POST

“I’m not a Belgian, I am Muslim. Every Muslim in the world, even if he has a beard from one meter to one millimeter, has to believe in caliphate,” says Delefortrie.

Overseas Press Club Honors CNN for 'Undercover in Syria' Series

The Overseas Press Club of America has honored CNN’s ‘Undercover in Syria’ series with the David Kaplan Award for Best TV or video spot news reporting from abroad. They will present the award, which honors the finest international reporting, at its annual ceremony on Thursday, April 27 in New York. CNN President Jeff Zucker will be on hand to deliver the keynote address.

Reported by senior international correspondent Clarissa Ward and produced by Salma Abdelaziz, ‘Undercover in Syria’ took viewers inside rebel-held territory for an exclusive series of reports on what life was like under the bombs. CNN was the only Western media to witness the effects of Russian bombardment first hand and go inside the devastation of rebel-held Aleppo.

Lineup Features Unscripted Programming Developed by CNN Original Series Team for HLN

NEW YORK (March 13, 2017) – HLN announces its 2017 Original Series slate today, a robust lineup of commissioned and internally produced CNN programming fare which features three new unscripted series and the season two renewal of the network’s highly-rated documentary series, How It Really Happened with Hill Harper.

New HLN Originals Series premiering this year include Beyond Reasonable Doubt, produced by Nutopia, Something’s Killing Me and Inside Secret Places with Chris Cuomo (working title), hosted by CNN New Day anchor Chris Cuomo. The latter two series are produced internally by the CNN Development team.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 10 – CNN will host a Town Hall with recently-confirmed Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price moderated by anchor Wolf Blitzer and chief political correspondent Dana Bash on Wednesday, March 15 at 9 p.m. ET.
