CNNMONEY CONTINUES GROWTH STREAK; TOPS BLOOMBERG, CNBC

POSTS SECOND BEST MONTH ON RECORD FOR MULTIPLATFORM, MOBILE UNIQUE VISITORS AND DESKTOP VIDEO STARTS

CNNMoney posted its second best month on record in August 2016, maintaining its position as one of the Top 5 business and financial online news destinations. In multiplatform unique visitors on both desktop and mobile devices, CNNMoney outranked competitors including Bloomberg and CNBC. In video, CNNMoney topped Business Insider and Wall Street Journal with 43 million video starts.

28 MILLION MULTIPLATFORM UNIQUE VISITORS
Up 4% from the prior month, CNNMoney ranked fifth among news competitors with 28 million multiplatform unique visitors in August 2016, a second-best all-time record behind only January 2016.

Up 6% from the prior month, CNNMoney posted 16 million mobile unique visitors in August  topping Bloomberg by 18%. Additionally, August was the network’s second best month on record.

Again topping Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, Forbes and other competitors, CNNMoney posted 111 million multiplatform visits last month. The visits – up 26% YOY – earned CNNMoney third place among competitors, a second-best all-time record.

Ranking third for the month of August, CNNMoney reached its second best month on record for multiplatform minutes ahead of Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Business Insider. Users spent a total of 565 million minutes consuming CNNMoney content across platforms – up 30% over the same month last year.
