Season Three of The CNN Original Series “This is Life with Lisa Ling” Premieres Sunday, Sept. 25

NEW DIGITAL SERIES THIS IS BIRTH WITH LISA LING TO DEBUT EXCLUSIVELY ON CNNMONEY ON SEPT. 19  

The CNN Original Series, This is Life with Lisa Ling, returns for its third season on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.  In the eight-part investigative docuseries, award-winning journalist and author Lisa Ling travels across America immersing herself in communities that are unusual, extraordinary and sometimes dangerous.

In the new season, Ling gains exclusive access to the LA County Jail, goes inside the cage with female MMA fighters, attends a wedding behind bars, and learns to code with Silicon Valley teens.  She also explores legalized prostitution in Nevada and the heroin epidemic in Chicago, uncovers state laws that allow rapists parental rights, and embeds with the Philadelphia Police Department to examine how new technology is changing law enforcement. In addition, CNNMoney will debut This is Birth with Lisa Ling, a new digital series that explores how inconsistent healthcare legislation, income inequality and cultural shifts are changing how people have children in America.  The five-part series hosted by Ling as she prepares for the birth of her second child, will premiere all at once exclusively across CNNMoney’s platforms on Monday, Sept. 19.

In season two, This is Life with Lisa Ling ranked #1 across cable news in its time period among adults 18-34 and #2 among 25-54.  The series is produced for CNN by part2, with executive producers Ling, Amy Bucher and David Shadrack Smith.
