Rachel Nichols Sits Down With the Courageous Lauren Hill
Rachel Nichols this week spoke with courageous Mount St. Joseph basketball player Lauren Hill, the 19-year-old freshman who recently realized her dream of playing in a college basketball game before she dies.
Lauren, who has a rare form of brain cancer, scored the first two points in last week’s season opener, which the NCAA moved up by two weeks to ensure she had the opportunity to play in her first college game.
Following what Lauren called “the best day” ever, she opened up to Rachel about living with a terminal diagnosis, that special game and how she hopes to raise awareness.
