Recalls, the NFL, driverless cars: Poppy Harlow sits down with first female CEO of Big 3 automaker, GM’s Mary Barra

After 10 months at the helm of General Motors, CNN’s Poppy Harlow sits down with the first female head of a Big 3 automaker, Mary Barra. Among the topics discussed were GM’s recalls, the NFL and driverless cars.

In the in-depth interview, Poppy asked Barra if the NFL and Roger Goodell took the right steps when responding to the recent crisis. Barra said that it was “completely unacceptable,” adding “I think they have an opportunity to not only make very important changes that will set the tone for the NFL, but also to do something that has more far reaching implications.”

When asked if she would consider pulling advertising dollars from the NFL sponsorship if she doesn’t see changes, Barra tells Poppy that she believes “they will do the right thing,” without giving specifics.
