EMAAR PROPERTIES TO SPONSOR CNN INTERNATIONAL’S NEW SERIES ‘ONE SQUARE METER’

CNN International today announced that Dubai-based global developer Emaar Properties is to sponsor ‘One Square Meter’, a new weekly segment within CNN’s nightly ‘Global Exchange’ show exploring the ever-changing landscape of real estate in emerging markets.

The sponsorship will position Emaar in front of CNN’s upscale online and television audience across Europe, Middle East, Africa; Asia; South Asia and Latin America.

The campaign package  includes: sponsorship of editorial series “One Square Meter” via billboard, and corporate commercials around the series; sponsorship of editorial vignettes based on the series with ‘in association’ opening and closing billboards; sponsored TV promos; co-branded banners, and a dedicated microsite www.cnn.com/onesquaremeter, with digital banner execution across all sites including CNN Arabic and CNN International.

Katerina Tornari, Account Director EMEA, CNN International said: “We’re delighted that Emaar has chosen to broaden its connection with CNN International’s audience through this cross-platform campaign. The sponsorship is a fresh dimension to previous advertising they have done with CNN and gives them the opportunity to put their brand messaging in front of the key business decision maker audience we can guarantee to deliver.”

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director, Emaar Properties, said: “The pioneer of integrated master-planned communities in Dubai, Emaar has a strong portfolio of projects in several key emerging markets in the Middle East and North Africa region and the Indian Subcontinent. Our developments focus on energising local economies through a focus not just on property but also by building robust hospitality and mall assets. ‘One Square Meter’ on CNN International’s ‘Global Exchange’ highlights the impact of the real estate sector on emerging markets, and through our support, we are focused on further strengthening our brand equity across a wide international audience.”
