Inside Man, Hosted By Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, Wins Ida Award For “Best Limited Series”

CNN’s popular original series Inside Man, hosted and produced by filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, was honored as “Best Limited Series,” at the 29th annual International Documentary Association (IDA) awards presentation in Los Angeles on Friday night (Dec. 6).
 
Honored for their work on the series were executive producers/writers Morgan Spurlock and Jeremy Chilnick; executive producer Matthew Galkin; and producers Kristen Vaurio, Lisa Kalikow, Shannon Gibson, Suzanne Hillinger, and Lara Benario. Inside Man is an integral part of CNN’s schedule and we are so happy that the industry has recognized the superb work by Morgan, Jeremy and the Warrior Poets team,” said Amy Entelis, senior vice president, talent and content development, CNN Worldwide.
 
The eight episode CNN series, which premiered on June 23, features Spurlock immersing himself in topical stories that include “guns in America,” “elder care,” and “migrant farmers,” while offering an intimate look into diverse aspects of the human condition.  Season two of Inside Man will air on CNN in spring 2014.
