Wrongly convicted Ryan Ferguson, released from jail after 10 years: Facts show clearly who committed murder

Released from prison after ten years, Ryan Ferguson opened up to “New Day” Anchor Chris Cuomo about his overturned conviction in the murder of newspaper editor Kent Heitholt, Missouri Attorney General deciding not to retry him, time lost and optimism about the future.

“I believe we know who did it. I think it’s a matter of proving it and a matter of getting help from the authorities at this point,” Ferguson said. When Cuomo asked him who committed the crime, he responded, “I think the facts show clearly who did it. I’m not going to throw names out there, but anyone who takes some time to look at the evidence, I think it will become obvious to them who that individual is.”
