CNN takes two AIB awards for Syria, Turkey coverage

CNN was a double winner at the 2013 Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) awards ceremony in London Wednesday night.

CNN’s coverage of the anti-government protests in Turkey won in the “Live Journalism – TV” category, with the judges praising the “great live, on-the-ground reporting in challenging circumstances.”

CNN also won in the “Short Feature” category for Damascus Undercover: Daraya, with the judges commenting that CNN’s “insightful reporting made this a moving and gripping report.” You can watch a portion of this undercover reporting here.
