Rebecca Kutler named executive producer of Crossfire

FROM SAM FEIST, Washington bureau chief and senior vice president, AND ERIC SHERLING, director of Washington programming:

It gives us great pleasure to announce Rebecca Kutler as the executive producer of Crossfire. Rebecca is a seasoned producer who started her CNN career in Washington more than a decade ago.  She has worked as a senior producer and executive producer for CNN's morning, weekend, weekday and prime time programs out of  New York, Washington and Atlanta. She was also a key producer of our most recent election and inauguration coverage. Rebecca brings to Crossfire extensive experience producing political programs and also years of experience on Capitol Hill as a Congressional staffer. Rebecca's passion for news, politics, and great debate make her the perfect choice for this role. Please congratulate Rebecca as she begins to develop the program and build her staff. As you know, Crossfire will originate from the CNN Washington Bureau and will launch this fall.
