Julian Assange “Strongly advices” Edward Snowden to “Go to Latin America”

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange weighs in on Edward Snowden, the man behind the NSA leak controversy.

Assange calls Snowden “heroic” for his actions and blasts the Obama White House for the surveillance programs. Assange tells Cooper “ you can’t trust any sort of statement that the White House is making” and that WikiLeaks is helping “in limited ways” to monitor the Snowden situation. He “Strongly advices” Snowden to go to Latin America as they are “pushing forward in human rights and have a long history of asylum.”
