AC360 Video: Exclusive interview with Reeva Steenkamp’s brother “We just want to know what the truth is”

In an exclusive interview which aired tonight on Anderson Cooper 360°, Jake Tapper spoke with Reeva Steenkamp’s brother Adam. Reeva was allegedly shot by her boyfriend, Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius.

Tapper, who is filling in for Anderson, asked Adam about his sister’s life and her relationship with Pistorius. Reeva Steenkamp graduated law school and Adam said “She wanted to make a difference,” he tells Tapper. “She started by making small steps in that right direction.”

Adam said Reeva didn’t speak about her relationship with Pistorius and that he has never met him “apart from watching him on the Olympics last year.”
Adam Steenkamp says that he doesn’t “have any absolutely terrible, vengeful feelings. I’m not wishing for bad things on anyone else. But If I were to detach myself from the situation, which I suppose I can’t do, under the circumstances, I would think it would be rather strange if someone who quite clearly did something like this were to get bail.”
