Panetta on the response to the Benghazi attack: "This is not 9-1-1"

In an interview that aired today on CNN's State of the Union with Candy Crowley, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs Chairman General Martin Dempsey spoke in a wide-ranging interview about Defense Secretary nominee Chuck Hagel’s confirmation hearings, the U.S. troop withdrawal in Afghanistan, and the threat of al Qaeda in North Africa, among other topics. PANETTA:  This is not 9-1-1.  You cannot just simply call and expect within two minutes to have a - a team in place.  It takes time.  That's the nature of it. Our people are there.  They're in position to move.  But we've got to have good intelligence that gives us a heads-up that something is going to happen.
