Virginia Moseley Joins CNN

Veteran journalist Virginia Moseley joins CNN as vice president and deputy bureau chief at the network’s Washington bureau, it was announced today by Sam Feist, CNN senior vice president and Washington bureau chief. Virginia will oversee the bureau’s newsgathering operation beginning the first week of December.

Virginia comes to CNN after spending 18 years at ABC News.  She most recently served as senior Washington producer of Good Morning America, where she oversaw all Washington reporting and interviews for the morning show.  Virginia’s other positions at the network included senior political editor during the 2008 and 2006 campaigns, and eight years with This Week, where she served as senior producer then executive producer. Before ABC News, she spent ten years with CBS News, where she worked in the political unit in various roles and as a Washington producer for CBS Evening News.
