Gains in several key sections of CNN.com have contributed to the success of CNN Digital. The US, Politics, Living, Tech, Opinion, Travel and iReport sections of the network were all up double or triple digits versus the prior month and year.

Attributed to CNN’s coverage of the presidential elections and Hurricane Sandy, CNN.com delivered on Monday, Oct. 29:

  • The fifth highest day on record with 162 million page views globally – a triple-digit increase over the previous four week average.
  • 11.2 million video starts globally, up triple digits over the previous four week average.
  • 1.9 million live video streams – the most for 2012 and up triple digits over the average.
