With only days until the election, CNN will present America’s Choice 2012: Countdown to Election Day today at 8 p.m., anchored by Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, Candy Crowley and John King, live from the network’s Washington studio. Gloria Borger, David Gergen, Alex Castellanos and Van Jones, will provide political insight and expert analysis.
Correspondent Tom Foreman will preview the tools of the virtual studio, to be used on election night, with a “Virtual Senate,” that will take viewers inside the Senate chambers. Senior congressional correspondent Dana Bash will review the current state of national Congressional races and detail how the balance of power could shift for the Senate on Tuesday. And the final 2012 CNN/ORC International campaign poll will be released in the 8 p.m. hour.
Chief White House correspondent Jessica Yellin and national political correspondent Jim Acosta are traveling with the presidential campaigns and will provide reports and updates from the campaign trail. CNN’s coverage will also include reports from key battleground states: Ohio, Iowa and Colorado. In addition, the network will continue to provide the latest information about Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.
