‘Bond Theme Week’ on CNN International

Begins Monday 22 October in ‘World One’ 1100 BST / 1200 CET
To mark the worldwide release of the 23rd official James Bond movie “Skyfall”, CNN International today announced a “Bond Theme Week” – a series of reports devoted to the world’s most famous super-spy, which will be broadcast ‘World One’ airing from Monday 22 October – Friday 26 October at 1100 BST / 1200 CET.
Highlights include:
- LIVE action and interviews with the stars on the red carpet at the ‘Skyfall’ premiere from the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday 23 October
- A report on Bond’s jaw-dropping vehicles – the cars, submarines and space buggies used in the 50 years of Bond films
- Bond girls talk to CNN on the evolving role of the Bond actress
- The music of Bond – an interview with Vic Flick, the guitarist who recorded the famous Bond riff, plus the man who wrote it – Monty Norman, whose Bond Theme has become one of the most famous pieces of music in cinematic history gives CNN an exclusive look at the original music manuscript for the Bond theme
- Behind-the-scenes secrets from world-renowned Bond stunt-man Vic Armstrong
