Gingrich: Unlikely Ron Paul will embarrass son re: delegate vote release

Live from the CNN Grill at the RNC Convention in Tampa, Newt Gingrich talks to CNN Anchor Soledad O’Brien about “Newt University” seminars, his convention speech, release of delegate votes and Tropical Storm Isaac.

On delegate votes, Gingrich says, “I think that Ron Paul people are going to be… very supportive on the floor. They do not expect any big problems. And I think that they’ve worked out some things, platform on auditing the Federal Reserve and some other issues that are important to Ron Paul. Plus Rand Paul has played a role, does get a speech, and I think it is a little bit unlikely that Ron Paul is going to want to embarrass his son in that kind of a setting.”

Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien airs weekday mornings from 7-9am ET on CNN.
