Anderson also spoke with criminologist Pete Simi spent time with the Sikh temple gunman and says Page began to identify with racist ideology while serving in the Army. TJ Leyden is a former skinhead who says his peers and commanding officer knew about his beliefs while he was in the Marine Corps. Leyden also says there are white supremacists actively recruiting within the military.

She said that Wade was a kind and gentle child trough his teenage years and that he may have first embraced his racist views while in the military
