Tonight on OutFront, CNN’s Erin Burnett will anchor live from a refugee camp near Mali and will look into the Islamist militants group with ties to Al Qaeda that have taken over northern Mali forcing more than a quarter million people to flee to neighboring countries.

Erin Burnett will profile the refugees who fled for their lives and will also speak with the leaders of the rebel groups planning to fight against the Islamist extremists. She will also speak with Johnnie Carson, assistant Secretary of the Bureau of African Affairs on US – Africa foreign policy, on what how he thinks the United States can help
