On #Amanpour Today: Fmr. Medicare/Medicaid Administrator, Fmr. Swiss President discuss #SCOTUS Health Care Decision

Former Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Donald Berwick, MD, and former Swiss President Ruth Dreifuss will join Christiane Amanpour for the Thursday, June 28th edition of the program.   Dr. Berwick served in his capacity for the Obama Administration shortly following passage of the Affordable Health Care for America Act (aka, “Obamacare”) and will discuss what today’s ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court means for American health care consumers.

While Ruth Dreifuss served as on the Swiss Federal Council, the Swiss government instituted an individual mandate for private health insurance for its citizens.  She will discuss her nation’s experience with that policy  since its implementation in 1996, on today’s AMANPOUR.
