Thomas Friedman on Syria: “Annan Cease-Fire Plan Appears to be a Failure”

Last night on Anderson Cooper 360°, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman spoke with Anderson about his thoughts on the situation in Syria including the devastating massacre in Houla which he calls a turning point for the reason that Russia and China who he says “have been playing the role of Assad’s lawyers defending the regime” seem like they no longer want to be playing that role.

He says a “perfect solution isn’t on the menu”.
