CNN Presents: war rage, meth making, and food safety investigations – May 6, 2012

CNN Newsroom anchor Randi Kaye anchors a three-story magazine program this weekend that includes a report by Pentagon correspondent Chris Lawrence on “war rage.”  Lawrence looks at vets charged with violent crimes who are saying PTSD made them do it; now juries are having to decide: should PTSD be a defense for murder?  Correspondent Amber Lyon investigates a new dangerous method of making illegal meth called “shake and bake,” and how taxpayers end up footing the bill when it backfires.  Finally, investigative correspondent Drew Griffin examines one of the deadliest food outbreaks in U.S. history – and discovers that it could have been prevented, and could easily happen again.

This edition of CNN Presents airs Sunday, May 6 at 8:00pm, 11:00pm, and 2:00am.  All times Eastern.
