Gen. Martin Dempsey: “I would challenge anyone to identify the opposition movement in Syria at this point”

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria spoke with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, USA, in an interview that aired on Sunday, Feb. 19.  In a wide-ranging interview, Gen. Demsey discussed with Zakaria the rationale for the advice that he is giving to President Obama regarding arming the Syrian resistance.  Among the challenges, Gen. Dempsey discussed with  Zakaria, is the difficulty in identifying the leadership of the Syrian opposition, saying, “I would challenge anyone to identify the opposition movement in Syria at this point.”
