VIDEO: Sen. John McCain – Romney took a setback; Gingrich/Santorum are ‘pork barrelers’

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) spoke with Soledad O’Brien on CNN’s Starting Point about the race for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination, including opponents’ records and recent primary/caucus wins.

McCain states, “Mitt Romney took a setback Tuesday night…. And we’re going to reinvigorate and pursue the effort in the states that are actually picking delegates right away. But I would also point out again that for, especially at CPAC conference, for Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum to call themselves fiscal conservatives is simply defiance of the record. They were earmarkers, they were pork barrelers, they encouraged the K-Street Project, which led to corruption, members of the Congress going to jail and Jack Abramoff. That is not being a fiscal conservative and that is their record. For Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum to call themselves fiscal conservatives is simply defiance of the record.
