Nic Robertson on violence in Syria

CNN’s senior international correspondent Nic Robertson – who recently returned from assignment in Syria – talks to Suzanna Malveaux about the situation in Syria, including the escalated violence in Homs.

“Assad has decided to ratchet up the firepower to crush this uprising [in Homs] once and for all – to break their spirit, to seal these areas off so they can’t get in…can’t get medical supplies…can’t get weapons to support themselves,” says Robertson.
